Help the child to develop the senses by graduating and adapting the stimuli through the installation of specific material in his environment.

The baby born from the first moments of birth

SINCE ITS FIRST DAYS OF LIFE, THE NEWBORN POSSESS ALREADY ‘A GREAT CAPACITY’ OF CONCENTRATION IF THE MATERIAL IS NEAR ITS FACE AND CONTRASTED

Create and cut and laminate some black and white images (animals, abstract shapes). Place near the child in the crib or on the wall, or on the changing table.

Mobiles

Age: from the birth

In the first few weeks of life, the mice help the baby develop the ability to explore visually.

In addition, they gradually increase the ability to fix an object in motion, observe its colour and depth … The merry-go-rounds must be changed regularly, but they can also be left on display in certain corners of the house.

These are pure visual activities: they do not emit any sound.

The rides move simply thanks to the weak air currents in the environment. They are made of natural materials and are offered to babies since birth.

Materials are presented in the following order:

1.Mundari’s mobile: consists of black and white geometric shapes and a transparent sphere that reflects light

2.The Gobbi’s mobile: consists of 5 balls of the same colour, but in different shades, arranged in a discrete order from the clearest to the most apologetic.

3.The octahedron mobile: consists of 3 octahedra of colored paper and three ordinary colors

4.The mobile dancers: consists of stylized figures in colored metallic paper, which move thanks to the air flow.

You can have mobile homes made of stylized slots, in wood and painted in light colors, realistic, however, that depict subjects such as airplanes, birds, butterflies, etc., not elephants or trucks, that do not fly at all!

The merry-go-rounds should be hung down so that the child’s hands can touch them. Initially contact will be random then gradually the child will learn to touch them voluntarily. To do that, he will have to improve the concentration and control of the arms.
